What happens to my project? |
As SEAS is a non profit organization, your project becomes a donation to our organization for fee based use and marketing purposes. All rights from the creator are surrendered and given to SEAS. All revenue received from a member’s project is used for the continuation and support of the mission of SEAS. All donated projects remain the property of SEAS until purchased by an interested party. |

Do I have to put my name on my project? |
No. Projects are identified by member id and secure password authentication only, unless the creator request that their name or byline be used. |

Can my name be used as the author of an article in a newspaper, magazine or printed at the head of an article? |

Can I purchase my own project? |

Are all projects promoted and displayed? |

Can I use my membership with the Society of Engineers and Applied Scientists on my resume? |

Can I use my time On-Assignment and my project with the Virtual Internship Program on my Resume? |
Yes. The name of the company, the nature of your project, personnel overseeing your project, including how it was used to further the mission of various non profit organizations will be sent to you. |

Does SEAS and the Virtual Internship Company stand behind projects that are resold to other Non-profits? |
No. All projects are sold AS IS. SEAS, its partners, and affiliates cannot be responsible for the efficacy of any project donated. |

How Much Do the Virtual Internship Companies Pay? |
In some cases, you will be operating as an independent contractor, managing both your time and yourself unless otherwise stated in your contractor terms. At the end of the year a 1099 form is sent from the company you have the virtual assignment with. |

How Much Do the Virtual Internship Companies Pay when I donate my project to SEAS? |
All projects are donated to SEAS to further its mission. However, the VIC (Virtual Internship Company) that offers a VIP (Virtual Internship Program) may establish a financial valuation by which SEAS pays un-hired participants a monthly stipend. |

How much does SEAS pay its members? |
That depends on whether you are ON-Assignment, or if you have been accepted to participate in a Virtual Internship Program. Members’ On-Assignment donate their project to SEAS. When On-Assignment your pay is the largess of your donation.
However, if you have been accepted to participate in a Virtual Internship Program, the Virtual Internship Company that offers a Virtual Internship Program, establishes a financial valuation by which SEAS may pay un-hired participants a monthly stipend until they become employed. |

How are Virtual Internship Companies selected? |
They make application, and by invitation. |

Who validates my project? |
Industry specialists and other member support systems. |

How do VIC’s get my resume? |
Through direct application, internal efforts and SEAS.JOBS. |

How long does it take to become a SEAS member? |
The Virtual Internship Company and SEAS must have at least 2 to 30 days to validate submitted applications. |

What is SEAS and a SEAS membership? |
SEAS is a 10 year old non-profit organization with a mission to advance education. A Membership with SEAS is a proven defense against long periods of unemployment, multiple positions and inexperience. |

Participation on an assignment that showcases your qualifications in a desired post is one proven method SEAS may help you advance your career. |

Will I get a good reference from SEAS for a prospective employer? |
SEAS is committed to providing accurate information regarding your performance and length of time with SEAS upon employer inquiry. |

SEAS is a virtual work environment. You only need Internet access. |

I don’t have a computer. How do I get to my assignment? |
The library is a valuable resource for accessing the Internet to perform your task. |

What is the meaning of a member in Good Standing? |
A member who meets or exceeds a Virtual Internship Companies expectations and membership fee is sponsored or paid to one year minimum. |

My child is graduating from college next year. Can she defer payment until then? |
